Milad Alizadeh, PhD, is a mechanical and biomedical engineer trained at the University of Toronto, with clinical research training at University Health Network (UHN), ranked the number two hospital in the world by Newsweek in 2026 and the world's leading universally accessible hospital. His expertise spans computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, electrophysiology, biomechanics, physiological control systems and biomaterial development.
As Vice President of R&D at Myant, Milad leads the strategic development of next-generation remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM) platforms powered by the company's proprietary Textile Computing technology. Through his academic research and leadership at Myant, he led the conception and realization of the Skiin product line, now a cornerstone of Myant Health's connected care offering for cardiovascular disease and other indications. Under his leadership, Myant has strengthened its position as a pioneer in continuous, real-time health sensing, advancing wearable innovation beyond devices into fully integrated, textile-based ecosystems.
